It all starts with good conversation. Either in our showroom or in the comfort of your home– we want to get a sense of your style and what your needs are. During this appointment, we’ll take 25+ measurements using our proprietary measuring process. We then begin selecting fabrics and other details to craft your custom suit or new wardrobe.

About one month after placing your first order, we’ll have a brief fitting appointment to check if minor edits are needed. This is normal – it’s all part of the custom fit process. If you do need adjustments, your next fit will be perfect. We promise.

With your custom fit dialed in, we deliver your first garments and keep your pattern in our system – making it easier to build out the rest of your custom wardrobe.

At Harper + Jones, we offer our exclusive Wardrobe Consultation Service to all H+J Clients, designed to help you achieve a closet that reflects your unique style, personality, and the demands of your daily life.
Our seasoned clothiers will work closely with you to assess your current wardrobe, identify any gaps, and recommend pieces that elevate your everyday attire to the next level. Whether you're looking to refresh your seasonal looks, prepare for a special event, or build a versatile collection of timeless staples, our team is here to ensure that every piece in your wardrobe serves a purpose and enhances your confidence.

We take a more comprehensive approach to building your custom suits and wardrobe but have a faster turnaround time and hold ourselves to a higher standard. Our Bench-Made suiting and shirts have more handwork than any custom men’s clothier in the nation.
