Harper & Jones crafts wardrobes with bench-made garments.
Who We Are
A bench-made suit requires over 25 measurements and posture assessments to be cut and sewn by hand. Our bench-made garments are of the highest quality — measured, cut, and assembled by a single tailor.
A custom suit requires over 15 measurements and posture assessments, but uses machinery to assemble your suit. Our custom garments maintain a comparable level of quality to bench-made, but simply utilize less handwork.
Who We Are Not
Made-to-measure clothiers only take 10 measurements and use generic formulas to make a suit.
Tailored clothing is made for anyone on an assembly line, but uses minor adjustments to simply alter it for you.
Off-the-rack clothing is anything made on an assembly line for you to try on in-store and purchase without making any adjustments.
